AMAS Maritime Service GmbH (AMAS) is a maritime service company founded in Hamburg, Germany in 2008. Its headquarter is located in Hamburg, and it has branch offices in Shanghai China and Singapore. Having started as a Crew Manager nowadays our professional team is also focused on marine equipment & spare part supply, repair yard representation, ship financing as well as new building/ship brokering and chartering services.

Over the years, we have established stable and loyal business relationships with shipping communities all over the world. We also maintain healthy and long term co-operations with various professional agencies in China.

Crew Management Service

Crew Management with predominantly sourced from China was our starting point, and still today we provide such services in full compliance with STCW and MLC standards on basis of lump sum or cost plus fee structures preferably for entire crews. Our Clients include shipping companies from Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Greece and Turkey.

AMAS is familiar with the management characteristics and can provide all kinds of recruiting and manning as well as travel arrangement, payroll, accounting and other administrative services.

Marine Equipment Supply

AMAS has long-term and stable cooperation with COSCO ShippingHeaving Industry Technology (Weihai) for Ballast Water Treatment System (BOS), Scrubbers, Fuel Gas Supply Systems etc. suitable for new builds and retrofits. AMAS guides Ship Owners & Managers through the entire installation process incl. design works, class approvals, installation and commissioning. AMAS deals also with after sales service incl. spare part supply for all supplied equipment.

For Manufacturers of Marine Equipment AMAS offers Agency & Representation Services in Northern Europe. AMAS supports your sales by providing contacts to potential clients we have in our database, visiting & presenting your products to them, participating in conferences & exhibitions etc. AMAS is also able to provide you with in-depth market intelligence from Northern European markets for Marine Equipment.

Employment & Administration of Shore Personnel in Germany

AMAS fulfils all requirements in accordance with the German act on temporary work (Arbeitnehmerüberlassungsgesetz) and therefore is permitted to hire out employees to third parties.

Based on this permission we provide a full HR-service package incl. payroll accounting for international companies. As such we effectively employ your employees and hire them out to you on basis of a full-service contract while you do not need to bother about complex German labour law, rules and regulations.

Ship Repair, Dry-Docking and Conversion (Jointtop)

Our Joint venture company, Jointtop offers main contractor model for ship repair, Dry-docking and conversion in China. We have around 70 supervisors under contract, more than 100 dockings per year all over China. Our full Service including:
